Details page - use as you need. The only field that has to be filled the Study Name.

Note the access to other parts with tabs. Once the study starts everything can be done with keys (or stylus if you have a tablet or UMPC).

The starting screen - everything can be done with keys from here (see the yellow help list - there is help [F1] as well).

You can load a method file. This file gives you instant access to the element list during the study.

Add elements to the list as you go - you can even change job files during the study to look up elements that you know are held in other files.

And here the study is under way - rating is done with the up and down arrow keys; Enter known element numbers or quickly get them with F6. Press F8 to count your quantities. Press space to break - lots more!

At the end - press the stop button to stop recording time - this saves the study..

You can still access the study to do all the editing you need.

And then - save again if you have made any changes.

Then - load TDX Analysis (it should be on the same machine looking at the same folder that your study was saved in). TDX Analysis is still free to use for up to 350 observations.

Load the the study you finished 10 seconds ago and you have a result!

Press Calculate Result - do a bit of editing to sort out the frequencies, ineffective and quantities and...

...and put it out to Excel straight away if you want.

Viola! Job done

  • None of that pesky editing of errors back at the PC.
  • Get more studies done - quicker.
  • Get on with some other work.

Now try it yourself on the PC you are using now (sorry Mac users - not yet!).

Return

Computer aided time study without the long editing overload - at last.

Don't forget to download TDX Analysis - currently still free for up to 350 Observations. You can get the results there or push the data straight out to a csv file for Excel, Access etc to process in any way that suits your needs.
