| Why does that Runtime file have to be loaded to run Timedex? |
Timedex was first coded back in 2002 with an embedded language native to the first Pocket PC operating Systems CE and Windows 2002. If you are using a PPC running either of those operating systems, you don't need to load the runtime library. However if you have Later 2003 or Mobile 5 PPC youl'll have to load the runtimes. See the page on this subject. |
| Will Timedex run on Mobile 6? |
Don't know yet - sorry. If anyone has tried Timedex on a Mobile 6 machine, or for that matter, a smart phone running either Mobile 5 or 6 could they let me know? |
| How many studies and job files can I store on the PPC? |
No limit bar memory; most studies are in the order of 20-30K and job files are 1-2K you could be looking at hundreds of completed studies and dozens of job files. Be sure you housekeeping is good and well structured with plenty of folders for historical data and well named files. You should in any case move/copy the virgin data to secure storage. Remember, these are your the start of your starts. |
